I’m so excited to share my very first overseas collaboration especially because it's being feature in Adorn Magazine!
When Esther from Esther Funk Photography invited me to collaborate on her styled elopement shoot in this scenic lake, I can’t help but get really excited! Kalamalka Lake in British Columbia is such a beautiful sceneries that I’m putting this spot in my travel bucket list. I mean, look at that view!!!!
For this styled shoot, we opt for an elopement announcement in lieu of traditional wedding invite. I love keeping things very casual because it makes everything feel so much more intimate. I chose a simple wreath design in pale blue color to match the color of the lake. I used kraft envelope and Madison addressing to complement the announcement and added pale blue vintage stamps with white fleur-de-lis wax seal to complete the look.
Other than Esther, I also had the opportunity to work with Kaitlyn from Kaityln Ellis Events who took care of the styling. I love working on the couple vows and a cool “just married” announcement on champagne bottle! If you followed me on Instagram, you’ve probably heard about my mishap with that champagne. Possible federal offense aside, I love taking on challenges and writing on different surfaces!
Enough with my blabbering, please enjoy the gorgeous photographs below! Oh, and quick fact, Kira and Brendan is real couple. So if you think you can feel the love in those pictures, that’s because it’s real J
